PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating a double fatal crash that happened late Saturday morning.
Police say a motorcyclist traveling west on Passmore Street cut off the driver of a red Ford F-250 traveling north on Frankford Avenue. They say a 62-year-old man was ejected from the motorcycle, and the truck lost control and hit a man sitting on a bench.
Both the motorcyclist and the man on the bench died.
A neighbor told NBC 10 that man on the bench was just following his daily routine.
"You see him almost every day, or every other day, out here at the same spot, drinking his coffee."
Police are combing through footage of the accident. No arrests have been made.
