PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two Philadelphia police officers are recovering after they were hurt in a car crash in the city’s Fairhill neighborhood overnight.
Around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, investigators said two cops in a marked car were hit by a green Honda HR-V at the intersection of Germantown and Glenwood avenues.
The officers sustained minor injuries, but both cars had to be towed.
Officials did not say who was in the other car and if they were injured.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
