PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are asking for help in locating the driver of a stolen Hyundai they say struck and killed a woman in North Philadelphia.

Officials say the crash happened just after 7:30 p.m. at 5th Street and West Indiana Avenue on October 13th in the Fairhill section of the city, near Kensington.

They say the suspect, driving a silver Hyundai Sonata, struck the 42-year-old victim as the car was turning onto West Indiana Avenue. The suspect then ran away on foot.

The woman was taken to the hospital and died almost half-an-hour later.
