NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A Philadelphia man was arrested and charged Saturday night after fights and gunshots were reported outside a popular South Jersey amusement park.

Police say they arrived at Clementon Park & Splash World around 8 p.m., about an hour before the park’s scheduled closing time, and deescalated the fights.

They say shots were fired in the air in the parking lot before their arrival. No one was injured.

Police arrested 24-year-old Quahee Eaton-Kennedy for his role in the incident. He was charged with second-degree possession of a weapon.

According to Tom Crisci, vice president of communications at IB Parks and Entertainment, the Park resumed normal operations Sunday.
