PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Pennsylvania's Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against a Philadelphia wedding photographer who allegedly failed to provide photos and videos to dozens of brides and grooms.
The lawsuit alleged that Christina Garcia of Christina Hernandez Artistry LLC, doing business as Wandering Stardust Collective, did not deliver on what was contractually promised.
She also allegedly refused to return deposits and would cancel at the last minute, as she double- or triple-booked herself on wedding dates, costing at least an estimated $75,000 in losses.
The lawsuit requests that Wandering Stardust Collective pay restitution to all those who suffered losses, be permanently banned from owning, operating or managing a business in Pennsylvania, and pay civil penalties of $1,000 for each violation of the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law and $3,000 for each violation involving a consumer age 60 or older.
Consumers who believe they have been victimized by Wandering Stardust Collective are encouraged to file a complaint with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General online.
