PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) Jim’s South St. has a lot of work ahead of it.

The popular cheesesteak shop at Fourth and South streets provided an update to its refurbishment since a fire closed operations over the summer.

Photos shared over the weekend show the ongoing damage and repairs underway. Jim’s Steaks noted there’s still a lot to fix.

Officials said the July 29 blaze likely started in the building’s HVAC system due to faulty wiring. It took firefighters several hours to get it under control.

Jim’s Steaks did not predict when it would reopen but said it will continue to be out of commission for some time, NBC10 reported.
