PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Pierre Robert is getting inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame.
The honor will come in October, less than a year after the legendary DJ’s death at the age of 70.
The Radio Hall of Fame said Robert “embodied the spirit of Philadelphia — leaving a legacy of music, kindness, and ‘Philly Love’ that will endure for generations.”
WMMR said it recognizes a 40-plus-year career “that changed radio, but it also celebrates the lasting connection Pierre created with his listeners.”
