Police looking for suspects in October armed robbery, abduction in North Philadelphia

Officials are urging the public to call the Special Victims Unit with any information on the suspects
Police believe the same group held up two employees at Bally’s Pizza on Mascher Street in Olney earlier that night. They released surveillance video which shows at least four men: two armed, and another with a long broken pipe, forcing one employee to open a cash register, with one pointing a gun at him and another holding a pipe over him, as the victim is holding his hands up in a surrender gesture.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are searching for a group of men they say abducted a man waiting at a bus stop in October in North Philadelphia and threatened his life hours after robbing an Olney pizza shop.

A 22-year-old man was waiting at Front and Wyoming on October 9th around 5 a.m. when police say a white Mercedes and a stolen white GMC SUV pulled up and two armed men got out and forced the victim into that SUV, which then drove around for a bit.

Investigators say the men were demanding the victim’s passwords and PIN numbers, and eventually went back to the same area to a laundromat, where they forced him to take out cash three different times before stealing his watch and other personal belongings. Police say they eventually let him go.
