The footage shows a silver-colored 2018 or 2019 Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows and damage to the front passenger side bumper driving to about 61st and Market Street. Then the car parks and a taller man exits the passenger side.
That person is seen wearing a light-colored hoodie and tight black pants with dark mesh shorts over them.
Police say he is the one who shot and killed 88-year-old Richard Butler Tuesday, March 5th, as he was sitting in his car along Dewey Street, near 62nd and Arch.
Sources say Butler had just dropped off his lady friend before getting shot in the chest. He died moments later at the hospital.
He was a retired SEPTA bus driver. A celebration of life service is scheduled for Saturday.
There’s a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction, as with every unsolved homicide in the city.
