PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting more than a year ago that left a teenager dead at a SEPTA bus stop in the Ogontz section of the city.
On Monday, police released new surveillance footage of the deadly shooting from March 4, 2024. Authorities at the time said about 20 people were waiting at the SEPTA bus stop near Ogontz and Godfrey avenues around 4 p.m. when a barrage of bullets was fired.
Officials said two gunmen had approached 17-year-old Dayemen Taylor, who was boarding the bus. They shot him multiple times throughout his body, killing him.
Four other people — ages 14, 15, 50 and 71 — were also struck but survived their wounds.

The suspects’ getaway vehicle was located, but the shooters have remained on the loose ever since.
One suspect was wearing a black hoodie with the phrase, “DON’T GET EMOTIONAL IT’S ONLY BROKEN PROMISES” written on the back and the word “EMOTIONAL” on the front.
