PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Authorities believe a man suspected of an attempted abduction in Lower Merion, Pa., is the same person sought by police in Cherry Hill, N.J., for two separate similar incidents in which they say a man attacked and robbed two women.
Police say a man knocked a woman to the ground at the Plaza Grande Apartments in Cherry Hill on Nov. 14, but she screamed, and he escaped in a dark sedan. About a week later, police believe the same man approached a different woman in the parking garage at the same apartment complex and tried to force her ay gunpoint to get into the trunk of his car. She also was able to get away.
On Nov. 4, police say the same man tried to abduct a woman at the Royal Athena apartment complex in Lower Merion. She, too, escaped without physical harm.
Authorities think the same man, driving a black Nissan Altima with Pennsylvania plates, is behind all three attacks. Anyone with information is asked to call police in Cherry Hill or Lower Merion.
