PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Travelers were left in the dark for hours overnight at 30th Street Station due to an outage.
It started around 8:45 p.m. PECO restored power around 3:30 a.m.
Amtrak experienced delays out of the station while SEPTA operated on a normal schedule, with the help of on-site workers, to guide travelers train to train.
SEPTA worked to ensure people got home from the Made in America festival Sunday night.
PECO said the blackout was caused by an equipment issue.
