DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Charges against “Jackass” star Brandon “Bam” Margera, related to an incident last summer in Wayne, were withdrawn on Wednesday morning in Delaware County District Court.
Margera was reportedly seeking a room at the Radnor Hotel around 3:15 a.m. on Aug. 9, but was turned away. It's unclear who contacted police or why, but Margera was ultimately arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
“Justice prevailed today when charges were drawn against Mr. Margera,” said attorney Michael T. van der Veen said in a statement. “It's fulfilling to be able to help him get his life back on track.”
This isn't the reality star's first run-in with the law. Margera was arrested in April 2023 for allegedly assaulting his brother. He'll be back in court on Monday on charges that he punched his brother during an altercation at his Chester County home.
