PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A repeat sex offender from Philadelphia has been sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison for sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl while he was on bail for another abuse case involving a minor.
The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General said 33-year-old Craig Coleman pleaded guilty on Monday to trafficking individuals, unlawful contact with a minor, statutory sexual assault, manufacturing child pornography, and related offenses.
The judge deemed Coleman a “sexually violent predator” who must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Investigators said Coleman committed those offenses while on bail for a 2023 case involving the possession of child sexual abuse material.
In 2015, Coleman was convicted in another case for sexual assault of a minor and manufacturing child sexual abuse material.
