PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A home invasion turned deadly in Overbrook on the night of Thanksgiving.
Around 7:20 p.m., police said a man, believed to be about 20 years old, forced himself into an apartment on City Avenue near the Overbrook Station.
According to investigators, the resident fired a gun, which hit the man in the head. He died at the scene.
Police said two guns were recovered.
