PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have arrested a man in connection with a brazen robbery in Mayfair earlier this month.

On June 8, around 2 p.m., police say a man walked into an auto repair shop near Harbison Avenue and Levick Street claiming to be an immigration officer. He was wearing a “Security Enforcement Agent” vest, dark clothing, sunglasses, blue latex gloves and a black baseball cap with a U.S. flag on it.

He then said there were "illegals present" and zip-tied a 50-year-old woman inside the business and stole about $1,000 in cash before fleeing in a white Ford van.

On Wednesday, police arrested 54-year-old Robert Rosado. Officials searched his home and found a holster, black radio, zip tie, fake badge, black handheld radio and an airsoft gun.

He is charged with impersonating law enforcement, robbery, theft by deception and related offenses.
