MEDIA (KYW Newsradio) — Residents of a Delaware County apartment complex who have been without drinking water for three weeks can now fill a glass from the faucet.
Management of the Glen Riddle Station Apartments says it has received test results back from Aqua PA, after water samples taken from the complex following a water main break on May 25th.
The samples show that there are no heavy metals in the water into the apartment building.
Energy Transfer, the parent company of the Mariner East Pipeline, was drilling in between two buildings at the Glen Riddle Station Apartments, shortly before the water main broke on May 25.
Management of the complex said it had the additional testing done because of fears that the water had been contaminated by drilling fluids from the pipeline project.
