School bus collides with medical van in Burlington County

MEDFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — Two people were injured after a school bus and a medical transport van collided in Medford Township, Burlington County.

It happened around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday near Lenape High School, at Hartford and Church roads.

Police said the van was traveling south on Hartford Road when it collided with a bus going north. The van hit the bus head-on, veered off the road, and flipped over onto its side.

The driver of the van, a 30-year-old man, was airlifted to the hospital with back and leg injuries. The bus driver, a 34-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital for an arm injury.

Fortunately, no students were on the bus. The van did not have any passengers either.
