PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A second man indicted by federal authorities for allegedly robbing several Brinks trucks admitted to a judge on Wednesday morning his role in a series of ambushes.
Dante Shackleford, 26, pleaded guilty to five robbery and gun-related offenses linked to four Brinks truck robberies between July and Oct. 2025 in both Philadelphia and Elkins Park, Montgomery County.
Shackleford and 24-year-old Mujahid Davis were indicted last year following a police chase in near Lower Merion after an attempted robbery last October. Davis pleaded guilty on March 27.
Both men are expected to be sentenced in August and face a minimum of seven years in prison, and possible $1.5 million fine.
