OCEAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Officials said a second car crashed into the same Monmouth County, N.J. in a little over a week.

At 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, the Wanamassa Fire Company was dispatched to Bimbler Boulevard in response to a car accident. At the scene, firefighters saw a car had crashed into an unoccupied home.
A similar accident happened on Jan. 15 when the same fire company was called to the same house for the same reason.

In the earlier accident, a car plowed through the Bimbler Boulevard home and fell into Deal Lake behind the house. The Wanamassa police said the occupants of the car sustained minor injuries from the crash and were able to get out of the vehicle on their own. The home was unoccupied at the time.
After the second accident, the Asbury Park Fire Department was called to investigate a possible structural issue.
