PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Six passengers suffered minor injuries Wednesday morning after two SEPTA buses collided in South Philadelphia.

Around 10:30 a.m., a Route G bus struck another Route G bus at 15th Street and Oregon Avenue.

According to a SEPTA spokesperson, three passengers on each bus suffered minor injuries.

This is the eighth crash involving SEPTA vehicles in nearly three weeks. The transit agency says there is no apparent connection between the rash of collisions, but operators are getting extra safety training as a result.
