PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Several people suffered minor injuries at an early morning apartment fire in Horsham Township.
It was around 6 a.m. Friday when flames and heavy smoke started in one of the apartments at The Addison at English Village right by routes 309 and 63.
Horsham Fire Company Chief Lee Greenberg said police officers and firefighters had to get some residents out.
“A young mother and a baby were assisted out by police and an elderly couple was brought down a ground ladder,” he said.
Greenberg said they were not seriously hurt and everyone else got out safely. Four other apartment units were damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
