PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Another teen has been shot in Philadelphia — the third in just a few days.

Police say an 18-year-old, who was outside along Kensington Avenue near G and Clearfield streets in Kensington, was shot in the buttocks Monday afternoon around 4:15.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he remains critically injured.

A 16-year-old was also shot over the weekend in Strawberry Mansion — while attending the vigil of a 13-year-old who was killed on Friday. The 16-year-old was shot twice in the leg and is expected to physically recover.

Nearly 150 kids have been shot so far this year, and more than three dozen have been killed.
