PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Seven people were shot in North Philadelphia early Saturday morning.

Police say people were gathered for an Instagram party near Fotterall Square on the 1100 block of West Cumberland Street around 3:30 a.m. when two men got into a dispute, causing some people to leave.

Not much later, police say a person returned to the spot and fired his weapon, injuring several, including a 16-year-old girl. She was shot in the chest and taken to a nearby hospital where she's in critical condition.

Six others — a 20-year-old, 21-year-old, 22-year-old, 23-year-old, 25-year-old and 30-year-old — were also shot. Police say they are all in stable condition.

One weapon and nearly 60 spent shell casings from three different caliber guns were recovered from the scene.
