PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman from South Jersey is facing animal cruelty charges after officials accuse her of neglecting five horses.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office identified 56-year-old Dana Grykin as the owner of the Winslow Township property and the steeds.

Earlier this month, officials say, a search warrant was executed for the removal of five horses from the property. All five were found by investigators, who say they were dehydrated, very thin, and kept in a small stable.

The horses were taken to a farm, where the Prosecutor's Office says they will have adequate food, water, and space to run and graze.
