PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Give yourself some extra time if you’re driving to the South Philadelphia Sports Complex.
The north and south I-95 ramps at Front Street are closed through May 21, as PennDOT continues work to repair and widen the roads.
PennDOT said it will try to reopen the ramps to one or two lanes for a couple of hours before and after big events, including Wednesday night’s Flyers playoff home game.
During the closure, drivers on Front Street are being redirected to Oregon Avenue, then left onto Columbus Boulevard to access the ramp to I-95 North. Drivers on I-95 South should exit at Broad Street and turn right, then turn right onto Packer Avenue to get to Front Street.
