PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for three suspects who broke into a South Philadelphia home Tuesday night, killed one man, and assaulted another.
It happened around 10 p.m. near Dickinson Square Park at Fourth Street and Tasker Avenue.
Investigators said the trio forced their way into a home along Cross Street. Once inside, police said they shot a 27-year-old man in the back of the head, then pistol-whipped another.
One shell casing was recovered from the scene.
Authorities are looking for surveillance video and speaking with witnesses, as well as the victim.
