PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) —Big events are coming to Philly this summer, and now there’s more space to enjoy them.
The big Stateside Live! expansion at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex will have its grand opening on May 29, with a free concert featuring the bands Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade and Bayside. The next night, DJ and producer duo Two Friends will take the stage.
You can order free tickets starting Friday, April 17, at 10 a.m.
The new additions to the $20 million transformation include a two-story, open-air rooftop lounge, an outdoor performance stage that can hold up to 5,000 people, multiple bars, and more green space.
