Montco woman sentenced for scamming Medicaid out of nearly $2M
Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A King of Prussia woman who ran a Medicaid fraud scheme through her home care agency was sentenced to up to 10 years in state prison.

Stephanie Mobley, 54, will spend between 17 months and 10 years in state prison for scamming Medicaid out of almost $2 million while she was the owner of ComfortZone Home Health Care, LLC.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said the scheme was uncovered during a two-year investigation by his office and the FBI.

Between 2020 and 2023, Sunday said Mobley and her 19 codefendants scammed Medicaid by submitting claims for services that never happened.

Sunday said Mobley oversaw the operation. She pleaded guilty to approving kickback arrangements, assigning fake caregivers to clients, and recruiting clients to participate in the scheme.

Alongside her prison sentence, she was ordered to pay back the money she stole.

Sunday said Mobley, her daughter Naya Campbell, who served as CEO of the agency, and 18 others conspired to defraud the program. All but one have pleaded guilty.

Campbell was sentenced to 11 ½ to 23 months in prison in March.
