PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police released surveillance footage in the hopes of identifying a man they say knocked out service to thousands of Comcast customers hours before the Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl game.

On Feb. 12 around 4:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism at Tulip Street and East Lehigh Avenue in Kensington.

Authorities said a man cut five fiber optic lines, damaging about $10,000 worth of equipment and causing an Xfinity outage.

Video shows the man and his white four-door Ford pickup truck at the Tulip Street underpass.
