PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating what they called a “suspicious death” in Hunting Park.
Investigators said a 48-year-old woman’s body was found inside a home on West Erie Avenue near Old York Road on Thursday. Police officials said she had been beaten to death.
Police took a 46-year-old man, believed to be her partner, in for questioning. He had blood on him at the time.
Investigators believe the incident was domestic-related.
Detectives were at the home for hours, but police have not made any arrests.
