PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police say a 24-year-old is in custody after turning himself in Monday in connection with a shooting in Center City last month.
Officials say it was around 11:30 p.m. on June 2 when an argument got out of hand and someone fired shots along 11th and Ludlow streets.
A 42-year-old woman, listed in critical but stable condition, was shot in the pelvis and arm; a 53-year-old woman was struck in the leg; and a 22-year-old man was hit in the arm. They are in stable condition.
Tahjir Williams now faces three counts of aggravated assault and related offenses.

In October 2025, Williams was found guilty by Judge Lucretia Clemons of two counts of each of the following offenses: aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment. She then sentenced him to a county sentence of 11 ½ to 23 months behind bars, with two years of probation.
