Around 12:40 a.m., police responded to the scene at an apartment complex on the 600 block of Franklin Place, near Seventh and Green streets, in the Poplar section of the city. There, they found three shooting victims.

Police said a 17-year-old girl was shot in the chest and died at the hospital.
