PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A teenage boy has been hospitalized after he was shot in Germantown early Wednesday.
It was just after 8:30 a.m. when, police said, the 16-year-old was found shot on Knox Street, near West Logan Street, down the block from the Fitler Academics Plus School.
That school was temporarily placed on lockdown.
The teen was taken to the hospital and placed in stable condition.
Police have made no arrests. It's currently unknown what led to the shooting.
