PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A teenager was shot near Dorsey Playground in Northeast Philadelphia Monday afternoon.
Police say it happened just after 3 p.m. on the 6500 block of Hegerman Street in Tacony.
They say a 14-year-old was driven to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle, with a gunshot wound to the leg.
He is listed in stable condition. No arrests have been made, and what led to the shooting is not yet known. An investigation is underway.
