Teens accused of shooting, robbing pizza delivery driver in Southwest Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police have arrested four teenagers accused of shooting and robbing a pizza delivery driver.

Authorities said the 37-year-old man was delivering pizza to a home near 68th Street and Pascall Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia Saturday night around 11:30.

The delivery man drove himself to the police station and reported the incident. He had been shot in the thigh and groin.

The victim told police that the teenagers stole the pizza, wings and cash.

Police went to the home and arrested the four suspects. Authorities said a 17-year-old boy was the shooter. The others include a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old. Their names are being withheld at this time.

The fourth suspect, 19-year-old Baraka Coffee, was also arrested.

They are each charged with aggravated assault, robbery, theft and related offenses.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
