PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A double shooting in West Philadelphia sent two teenagers to the hospital, where they are both in critical condition.
Police responded to 56th and Arch streets around 5:40 p.m. Investigators found two young boys, ages 14 and 17, who had been shot.
The 17-year-old was shot twice in the head and was placed in extremely critical condition early on. The 14-year-old was shot once in the back.
Police found eight shell casings nearby and are now working to gather nearby surveillance video to get a better idea of who fired the shots.
