MEDIA, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — The trial against Delaware County’s former emergency services director — accused of groping and forcibly kissing a subordinate — is underway.
Tim Boyce was fired in 2024 following sexual discrimination allegations from women in his office.
One of the victims took the stand on Monday, claiming Boyce tried to kiss her on the lips while simultaneously grabbing her buttocks. She eventually quit.
Another woman claimed Boyce made lewd comments toward her and sent unwanted pictures of his genitals.
The jury is also expected to hear from a woman with whom Boyce had an affair while he was married.
Boyce’s defense team claimed this is a “political witch hunt” that was initiated by the former district attorney, and that the women who are making the claims are out to get money.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office is prosecuting the case.
Boyce is charged with indecent assault, harassment and lewd threatening.
