PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A speeding van crashed into multiple cars, including two police cruisers, in Brewerytown early Monday.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. at 28th Street and West Girard Avenue. Police were already there investigating a burglary when they heard the van speed by.
Officials said the van hit a car, a marked police vehicle, and an unmarked police vehicle. The van became airborne and landed on the unmarked police car.
Police said several people suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the van, a 56-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
