PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are trying to identify two men wanted in the shooting of a Wingstop employee in the city’s Overbrook neighborhood earlier this week.
It happened on Sept. 8 around 5:15 p.m. at the Wingstop in the City Avenue Shopping Center, near 76th Street and City Avenue.
Police said a female employee confronted the suspects for allegedly using marijuana inside the store.
Newly released surveillance video shows the suspects and the employee get into a verbal argument, then one of the men takes a swing at her before exiting. That suspect is then seen pulling out a gun and firing a shot inside the store, striking the employee. She suffered a graze wound.
Police said the pair got away in a white sedan, possibly a late-model Volvo S60.
