PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Investigators have released surveillance video of a man who they say fired shots from his car in West Philly, one of which hit a 15-year-old in the arm.

According to Deputy Police Commissioner Frank Vanore, it happened along Girard Avenue near 42nd Street around 7 p.m. Monday.

"Shots were fired from a silver Honda towards another car and a teenager was struck in the arm while he was exiting the bus," he said.

A 20-year-old woman was also grazed by the bullet across her chest. Both are expected to physically recover. Vanore said they were not the intended targets.

A picture of the suspect shows him driving silver Honda Civic, model year 2016 or 2017, with damage to the front panels, a missing passenger-side hubcap and a white vanity plate on its front bumper. Police believe he is between 40 and 45 years old.

Anyone who may have information on the shooting or suspect is urged to call detectives at 215-686-TIPS.
