PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police arrested a man for allegedly vandalizing a Wawa gas station in Mayfair overnight.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the gas station at Roosevelt Boulevard and Tyson Avenue. The store was closed at the time.
Video by NBC10 shows several pumps smashed on the ground and computer screens bashed in.
There was also a burnt piece of paper on the ground. Police said the man started a fire between the pumps but firefighters extinguished it.
Police and firefighters were on the scene. No one was injured and there was no fire.
The 37-year-old man was arrested and is facing arson charges.
