PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three men who posed as contractors are accused of sexually assaulting a woman in West Chester, according to investigators.

Police said the men were going door-to-door last week soliciting home repairs. One woman opened her door to hear the pitch from the men, who were wearing ID cards with the business name Everest Roofing & Masonry. They also had handouts advertising their services.

The woman told officers a man introduced himself as Jimmy and then attacked her.

Police later called the number on the advertisement card and set up a sting. They arrested James McDonagh, of Ireland, and John Delaney, of England. They are still looking for the third man.

Upon further investigation, detectives said the business was a complete scam, and neither McDonagh nor Delaney had a fixed address in the U.S.

Detectives ask anyone who may have had contact with these men or placed a deposit with Everest Roofing & Masonry to call West Chester police at 610-436-1337.
