PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman was sleeping in a car early Monday morning in Kensington when the vehicle was stolen, investigators say.

Police responded to a report of an abduction shortly before 2 a.m. at Allegheny Avenue and G Street. Rita Diehl, 34, was reported missing. Police said she was located in good condition several hours later.

However, the search is ongoing for the suspect and the vehicle.

Police say a man dressed in black stole the 2012 Silver Buick Verona, which has a Delaware tag: 323204.

It’s not clear if the suspect knew the woman was inside the car.
