PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police said a woman was shot through her own front door in West Philadelphia Thursday night.
It happened around 9 p.m. on Aspen Street, near 49th Street, in the Mill Creek neighborhood.
The 24-year-old woman was shot in the leg. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The woman’s 2-year-old daughter was inside the home at the time but was not hurt.
She told police that she believed her boyfriend fired the shot.
No one has been arrested. Investigators are reviewing real-time crime camera footage from the neighborhood.
