PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman is hospitalized after being shot Friday night in North Philly. Police have a person of interest in custody.
Officers responded to the scene on West Sergeant Street near North 26th Street at 11:42 p.m. where they found the 19-year-old victim with gunshot wounds to her arm, hip and back.
She was taken to a nearby hospital, and is listed in critical but stable condition.
Authorities say they have a person of interest, but no weapon yet. The investigation is ongoing.
