PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman stabbed her roommate in the neck in Nicetown overnight, police said.
It happened around 2 a.m. on Hicks Street, near Roosevelt Boulevard.
Chief Inspector Scott Small said it all started when one of the women grabbed a bottle of bleach.
“We’re told by the witness that that bleach was being thrown on one of the individuals involved in the fight, and that’s what caused it to escalate to the stabbing,” he said.
The 20-year-old victim is in critical condition.
No one has been arrested yet, but police said they know who they are looking for.
