PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Of the Tall Ships arriving for a Delaware River Parade of Sail on May 24, keep an eye on the dynamic lines of an entry from Portugal.
The crosses of Portugal identify Sagres, a tall ship with a history. Look for her as the Parade of Sail makes it's way to Penn's Landing.
Taken as reparations from Germany at the close of WWII, she is a sister ship of America's Eagle.
John Brady, President of the Independence Seaport Museum, says pay attention to the Naval cadets standing high in the ships rigging.
"People are impressed with how high up the sailors get and how acrobatic they can be," Brady said.
Also keep an eye out for America 2.0, a sleek gaff rigged schooner that reflects the dynamic lines of her namesake 19th century racer.
