PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Kayla is a 9-year-old who is eager for a family to call her own.
This Mickey Mouse and “Frozen”-loving youngster has spent more than half of her life waiting for the right family who can understand her medical needs and help her with her limited mobility and 24-hour care.
"Kayla deserves a loving family," said her adoption recruiter, Kenricka Ellis. "She deserves a chance to be able to have a family and go out and do all the things that families love to do."
Kayla loves to be taken for strolls, listen to music and watch movies.
"She loves to be taken for walks, to be read to. She loves listening to Disney music and watching Disney movies," Ellis said.
She’s a bright and happy child who needs a family that is willing to grow with her and learn about her medical needs.
Her greatest gift is her gentle warmth and loving presence that would bring fulfillment to any family willing to open up their homes and lives to this sweet girl.
