Philadelphia police are investigating an apparent double homicide and suicide in South Philadelphia.
Officers responded to an incident at South 10th and Bigler streets around 5:30 p.m.
When they arrived, police say they found three adult women inside with gunshot wounds to their heads.
They were pronounced dead a short time later.
According to police, their preliminary findings indicate that two of the victims were shot and killed, and the third victim may have turned the gun on herself.
